Title: A Day with Too Much to Do

Mika works in an office in Tokyo. One Monday morning, she looked at her calendar and sighed. “There’s too much work,” she said to herself. Her team had many tasks, and much of it had to be done by the end of the day.

First, she wrote a report, which took a lot of time. Then she attended a meeting, where many people shared their opinions. Mika spoke clearly, and her manager said, “Thank you very much for your ideas.”

After lunch, she worked on a project that needed plenty of research. “This is much more difficult than I thought,” she said. She asked a coworker for help. “No problem,” he said. “I’ve done this numerous times.”
