The Presentation Deck

The pitch was in forty-eight hours. The deck had thirty-two slides. Aya had fourteen of them.

“How’s it looking?” he asked.

“Slide nine is the problem,” she said. “The data is good. The story isn’t.”

She thought for a moment. “That skillful execution matters more than a perfect plan.”
