Title: Starting a New Job
After graduating from college, Ken was worried. The job market was tough, and many of his friends were still unemployed. He sent out many applications and finally got a job interview at a hospital. He dressed well and answered all the questions with confidence. A week later, he received a job offer. It was a full-time job as a medical assistant.
Ken’s occupation was new to him, but he worked hard to learn. His role included helping doctors and taking care of patients. At first, it was difficult. However, he knew this profession could lead to a great career. His coworkers supported him, and he quickly became good at his job.
One day, his manager praised him during a team meeting. “You’ve done an excellent job, Ken,” she said. That moment made Ken realize that he had chosen the right path.
He still remembered his days of leisure before starting work, but he now enjoyed being part of something important. His job gave him purpose and pride.
