Lisa worked at a small bakery in town. She enjoyed making all kinds of desserts, especially cakes. One day, a customer came in and said, “I want a cake that is especially for my grandmother’s birthday. She is turning 90!”
Lisa asked, “What does she like?” The man replied, “She loves chocolate, especially dark chocolate.”
Lisa thought hard. She wanted to create something especially important—a cake that would make the grandmother smile. It had to be particularly delicious and beautiful.
She used a chiefly dark chocolate base and added flowers made of sugar. Above all, she wrote “Happy 90th, Grandma!” in gold letters.
When the man saw it, he said, “This is especially perfect. Thank you!”
Lisa smiled. Baking was not just her job; it was her way of showing care. That day, she learned that doing something especially for someone else can be the most notably joyful experience.
