Last Friday, Ken received a phone call over the phone from a company. They wanted to interview him over the weekend. He was nervous but excited. On Saturday morning, he arrived at the office building and went up to the 10th floor. The company’s logo was hanging over the reception desk.
During the interview, the manager said, “We’ve looked over your resume, and we are impressed.” Ken smiled. He had worked hard to improve his skills over time.
After the interview was over, Ken felt relieved. He went home and waited. On Sunday night, the manager called again. “Congratulations,” he said. “We’d like to offer you the job.” Ken couldn’t believe it.
He remembered how many times he had failed in the past. He had tried over and over again, but now his efforts had paid off. His old problems were over, and a new chapter had begun.
Over and above the joy, Ken felt grateful. He thanked his parents and friends who supported him all the way. “Over and out,” he whispered, smiling.
