On Monday morning, our office felt unusually tense. A client was visiting in the afternoon, and we planned to show a new product demo. I was in charge of the projector, the printed handouts, and the small welcome sign for the reception desk.

At 10 a.m., I went to the storage room and froze. The projector case was not on its usual shelf. I checked again, then looked under the table. Nothing. For a few seconds, my mind went blank.
