Title: A Single Choice

Tom is a 27-year-old man who lives in a single room apartment. He works as a software engineer in Tokyo. Tom is single and has never been married. Though he often feels alone, he enjoys his solo life.

One day, his company announced a big project. The manager needed to single out someone to lead the team. After reviewing all candidates, the manager chose Tom. He was surprised but happy.

Tom worked hard. He knew every journey begins with a single step. He stayed in the office late, often working alone. Some said he was too focused, but Tom believed in doing his best.
