Title: My First Day in a New School

When I moved to Tokyo, I was nervous about going to a new school. I didn’t know anyone there. On my first day, I walked into the classroom and saw many strangers. I found an empty seat and quietly sat down. Soon, one of my classmates came to me and said, “Hi! I’m Haruka. What’s your name?”

I smiled and said, “I’m Ken. I just moved here.”

Haruka introduced me to her friends and classmates. They were kind and talked with me during lunch. One of them even said, “If you need help, we’re here for you.” I felt happy and safe.
