Emily had worked at the same company for five years. Her job title was Assistant Sales Manager, and she was proud of her work. Every day, she made sure to help her team and meet the sales goals.
One day, her boss called her into the office. “Emily,” he said, “you’ve done an excellent job. We are giving you a new title—Sales Manager.” Emily was surprised and happy. Her hard work had finally been recognized.
The next week, her name and title were written on the office door. She smiled every time she saw it. She updated her email signature and even shared the news with her family. Her parents congratulated her, saying, “This new title shows how far you’ve come.”
At the next company meeting, the director introduced her with her new title. “Let’s welcome our new Sales Manager, Emily!” Everyone clapped. Emily thanked them and said, “This title means a lot to me. I will continue to do my best.”
