Emma recently started a new type of job at a tech company. Her position is in the marketing department, but her tasks are quite different from the usual kind. Every day, she works on a different type of content—videos, blog posts, or even social media updates.
On Monday, her boss asked her to type a long report about customer behavior. Emma typed quickly and carefully. She chose the right file type to save the document and shared it with her team. One of her coworkers asked, “What sort of data did you include?” Emma replied, “I categorized it by age group and purchase type.”
In her office, people often discuss different types and kinds of strategies. Some prefer a creative approach, while others follow a traditional one. Emma enjoys working with all sorts of people because each individual brings a new idea.
During lunch, her friend Lisa asked, “Do you like this type of work?” Emma smiled and said, “Yes, it fits my body type—sitting at a desk is just right for me!” Lisa laughed, “Well, that’s a random reason, but I get it.”
Emma is happy with her new job. It might be a different category than what she studied in school, but it’s the perfect class of work for her interests.
