Ken was a high school student who loved painting. Every day after school, he spent hours working on his art. One day, his teacher announced a school art show. “This is your chance to show your work,” she said.
Ken felt nervous. He liked to paint, but he didn’t like to show off. “What if people don’t like my work?” he wondered. His friend Emi encouraged him. “Just show interest and do your best,” she said.
At the art show, Ken decided to exhibit three of his paintings. Many students and parents came to see. One teacher said, “Your paintings demonstrate great emotion.” Another student asked, “How do you choose your colors?” Ken smiled and said, “I just try to show what I feel.”
Later, the principal gave Ken a special award. “You showed great talent,” he said. Ken learned that showing your work isn’t about being the best. It’s about sharing what you love. From that day on, Ken was not afraid to present his art.
