Tom works at a busy office in Tokyo. One morning, his boss gave him an urgent task: write a report about the new product launch. “Please finish it quickly,” she said.
Tom understood that he needed to move quickly and efficiently. He opened his laptop and started typing. He worked swiftly, checking every detail. Although he had only one hour, he finished quickly and sent the report. His boss responded promptly, saying, “Well done, Tom. You completed it quickly and easily.”
Tom smiled. He had learned to think quickly and act with confidence. His coworker Jane said, “You always finish work briskly. I’m impressed.”
Tom replied, “I just try to stay focused. If we move slowly, we miss chances.”
That day, Tom felt proud. He knew the importance of doing things speedily but correctly.
