Mika is a high school student who wants to study abroad in Canada. Every day, she studies hard to improve her English. Her main field of study is environmental science, and she is very passionate about it. She always brings a study guide and a notebook to her favorite place: the small study room at home.
One day, her friend Yuki suggested a new method. “Let’s have a study session together,” Yuki said. Mika agreed, and they began to read and study together every weekend. At first, it was hard to focus, but soon they found it helpful. They asked each other questions and reviewed everything after studying.
Mika also started to do research on different study techniques. She read that taking breaks and changing topics can help the brain remember better. She tried it and noticed a big difference. She didn’t ignore any subjects and never neglected her weaker areas.
Studying became fun, not just a duty. Mika and Yuki encouraged each other. “If we study and work together, we can reach our goals,” Mika said.
By the end of the year, Mika’s English test scores improved a lot. She felt ready to take the next step and apply to a university abroad. Thanks to her hard work and support from her friend, Mika believed she could make her dream come true.
