Title: First Day at Work

Tom had just graduated from college and got a job at a big company. On his first day, he was afraid. He was afraid of making mistakes and afraid to speak in meetings. The large office and many people made him feel nervous.

As he walked into the office, he remembered what his father told him, “Be brave, and everything will be fine.” Tom tried to look confident, but inside, he was full of fear and anxiety.

During the morning meeting, his manager asked a question. Tom knew the answer but was afraid to ask or speak. Finally, he stood up and shared his idea. The manager smiled and said, “Good thinking!” Everyone nodded.
