Title: The Contest at Work

Tom works at a marketing company. One day, his boss announced that the company would hold a contest to create a new advertising plan. Several teams would contend (compete) for the best idea.

Tom and his team worked hard. They had to contend with difficulties like short deadlines and a lack of data. Some people argued (argue) about the best strategy. But Tom always asserted (assert) his ideas with confidence.
